Red Snapper in vogue for Fashion Week

Catering and events organiser Red Snapper Events, which was formed by former Mosimann's and Rhubarb executive Damian Clarkson earlier this year, has won the contract to cater for London Fashion Week.

Red Snapper will be working alongside Rouge Events to cater for the event in September. Its recently appointed consultant chef, Giles Thompson, who joined the company from London's Ritz last month, will be overseeing the week-long contract.

Thompson sits on the Soil Association Catering Standards Committee and will be working closely with Single Market Events, Fashion Week's principal organiser, to co-ordinate the organic-focused food offering.

"This appointment is a fabulous opportunity for Red Snapper Events to properly demonstrate its status as one London's leading caterers," commented Clarkson.

"Having worked with many corporate clients and fashion houses before, it's nice to be given formal recognition by an event of such a high, global profile."
