3Sixty Restaurants back in the black after launch of new sites

3Sixty Restaurants has reported a 15.7% increase in turnover to £17.4m in in the year ending 31 March 2016.

The group which operates the Ego and Rocket brands also saw a pre-tax profit of £327,388 and an EBITDA increase of £488,584.

This is an improvement on last year's report which showed a pre-tax loss of £63,062.

The positive turn has been credited to the launch of four new Ego sites and the closure of Rocket Holborn on 3 May 2016.

3Sixty Restaurants' chief executive is James Horler, previously of Frankie & Benny's and La Tasca. Other active directors include Joseph Tager, Julie Leigh, Luke Johnson, Michael Gottlieb, Nicholas Beart and Adrian Abbey.

In the report, Leigh said that the companies aim for the following year was to "increase sales further throughout the group and expand with the introduction of our four new pub sites Ego at Tumbledown Farm in Cannock, Ego at the Knowles Arms in Blackburn and Ego at the Old Ashfield in Sutton in Ashfield and Ego at the Dorset Arms in West Bridgford with further sites to follow."

Ego operates 14 sites across the UK. In January 2017, 3Sixty Restaurants sold the three London Rocket sites in Canary Wharf, Adam's Court and Bishopsgate to Novus Leisure. The Rocket Nottingham site will be rebranded to join the Ego group.
