Anton Mosimann appoints sons as Mosimann Collection managing directors

Legendary chef Anton Mosimann is to hand the day-to-day running of aspects of the Mosimann Collection to his two sons as he looks to take on other challenges.

Double Catey winner Mosimann, who runs a London club, event caterer and chef academy, has appointed sons Philipp and Mark as joint managing directors.

"It will give me greater freedom to take on a variety of challenges and, together we will take the company to the next level," he said.

The former chef de cuisine at London's Dorchester hotel is involved in a number of charities such as the industry's own Hospitality Action.

Philipp, who was chief operating officer for Mövenpick Restaurants, will look after the company's catering arm, Mosimann's Party Service in his new role.

Mark, who was general manager at the Laris restaurant at the Three on the Bund complex in China will keep an eye on the academy and the company's fine food products business.
