Arnold Ivey appointed head chef of D&D London's Avenue

Arnold Ivey has been appointed head chef of D&D London's Avenue restaurant in London's St James's.

Ivey, who was head chef of D&D London's Kensington Place restaurant until its closure in March, has been tasked with re-positioning the offer to become more seasonal and British focused.

The chef will bring some dishes from Kensington Place with him including Dover sole with brown butter, lemon and capers; whole seabass off the bone; mussels; fish and chips; yellowfin tuna tartare with cucumber, apple and seeded crackers.

The chef has also worked at D&D London's Bluebird Chelsea, Orrery in Marylebone, and Paternoster Chop House near St Paul's.
