Beany Green to open flagship Broadgate Circle café
Café group Beany Green is to open a flagship site in the City of London's Broadgate Circle later this month.
The new 30-seat site will be the fifth for the group, which was founded by former investment banker, Australian-born Prue Freeman, and her English partner Tom Onions.
It opens close to the location of its original coffee kiosk, which opened two years ago. It will offer a bigger space it to sell its coffee and health-focused all-day food offering.
Typical brunch dishes will include: gluten-free broccoli bread topped with avocado, poached eggs and tofu mayonnaise; banana bread sandwich; and the Full Bondi (full English breakfast with avocado and lemon).
Meanwhile an open "kitchen table" lunch counter, will offer Beany Green's Detox Box (three raw salads plus spicy vegan Beany ball and tofu mayonnaise) and Ginger Pig lean beef sliders and Bacon Wrap (crispy bacon, fried eggs, chilli pesto, mature cheddar pesto and spinach), among other options.
The new site will open on 16 April.
