Bella Italia opens new site in Crewe
Italian-style restaurant group Bella Italia has opened a new site in Crewe, Cheshire.
The 160-seat, 3,660 sq ft restaurant has opened today (20 July) on a 15-year lease just outside the town in the Grand Junction retail park, after a £750,000 investment in the unit from the park's owner, USC.
The restaurant offers outside seating, and a wider menu than previous locations, including breakfast, brunch, pizza breads, chicken wings, arancini, pizzas, pastas, grills, burgers, risottos and salads. The new site is also near to other retail parks and a cinema.
The move forms part of a larger expansion drive for Bella Italia, which in April this year announced plans to open five new restaurants in 10 weeks, and 100 sites by 2019.
Part of the Casual Dining Group under the Apollo Global Management umbrella (whose brands also include Café Rouge and Las Iguanas), Bella Italia has 90 restaurants across England, Scotland and Wales. The most recent openings include Ashton-under-Lyme, Dudley and Hemel Hempstead, and imminent sites are expected to include Gallions Reach in Barking, Essex.
