Bella Italia to open three sites in the countdown to Christmas
Bella Italia is to open three restaurants before Christmas as it continues its expansion plans.
The Mansfield, Walsall and Gloucester sites follow the recent Burton-upon-Trent and Gillingham openings. Together they represent a £4m investment.
The Mansfield Leisure Park site opens today (Wednesday), while Walsall's new Waterfront all-day retail park opens on 9 December and the Gloucester Quays restaurant opens on 18 December. Bella has signed 15-year leases on all five sites.
The new sites take Bella Italia's estate to 90 restaurants.
Phil Derbyshire, group property director at Bella owner Casual Dining Group, said: "These five new openings in the run-up to Christmas represent a strong end to a very good year for Bella.
"We've dramatically accelerated the number of openings in 2015 and have a strong pipeline of sites secured for 2016/17 across our three growth brands Bella Italia, Las Iguanas and Café Rouge.
"With such a wide repertoire of brands and broad location profiles, we are seeing an increasing number of multi-brand opportunities in several of the large UK leisure schemes."
