Bellavita London celebrates three years with top chef line-up
Chefs Theo Randall, Aldo Zilli and Philip Howard have been announced as part of a line-up for this year's Bellavita London exhibition.
In order to showcase the best Italian produce, chefs Francesco Mazzei, Theo Randall, Joe Bastianich, Gennaro Contaldo, Ollie Dabbous, Philip Howard, Alessandro Grano and Carmelo Carnevale will be using ingredients from the producer's stands at the show in their dishes during the event, with Zilli using La Molisana pasta.
Other activities include live panels where chefs, distributors and importers of Italian food will cover topics such as changing food trends and how to succeed in the UK market.
260 Italian producers are due to attend the show, offering never before seen products such as Blue Potion (cold brew coffee using coconut water).
During the Expo, the Bellavita's Best UK Sommelier Competition - Villa Sandi Award will take place. Contestants from restaurants such as Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Locanda Locatelli will compete under the watchful eyes of the panel, made up of BBC Radio presenter Nigel Barden and journalists Christopher Walkey and Peter McCombie.
The Bellavita Awards 2016, an international programme dedicated to recognising Italian food and drinks will also be announced during the show.
