Bernine van Schoor becomes restaurant manager for Vivat Bacchus in Farringdon

Vivat Bacchus has introduced an all-female team to head up its Farringdon, London, restaurant. Bernine van Schoor takes the role of restaurant manager.

Van Schoor, a South African native, is returning to Vivat Bacchus where she previously worked for four years.

She has since spent two years with Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar as the restaurant manager of his Benares and Vatika restaurants.

Laura Ward also joins as head sommelier. Ward previously spent two years at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant as assistant head sommelier.
