Bill's Restaurants to open Leicester site

Casual dining group Bill's is to open at the Highcross shopping centre in Leicester in early 2015.

The 2,500 sq ft site will be on the ground floor, and serve the group's usual all-day menu, including breakfast dishes; lunch; afternoon tea, coffee and cake; and dinner with drinks.

The restaurant will join Carluccio's, PizzaExpress, Coast-to-Coast and the Handmade Burger Co, and become the 19th restaurant unit within the Highcross ‘catering quarter'.

Started by a greengrocer in Lewes, Sussex, Bill's currently runs to over 30 sites, including 17 in London, and is now directed by former Caprice Holdings managing director Andy Bassadone.

It is on a significant expansion drive, with recent opening announcements including Woking Shopping Centre, Liverpool ONE and Bluewater. It is also soon to open in Welwyn Garden City.
