Black Cat Taverns laps up Yorkshire's Blacksmith's Inn
The Blacksmith's Inn, a popular dining venue in the North Yorkshire village of Westow, has been sold to new company Black Cat Taverns.
The Leeds office of Colliers Robert Barry achieved a sale close to the asking price of £450,000 on behalf of the previous owners, Richard and Julia Brown.
The character village inn features stone flagged floors, ceiling timbers, and a large inglenook fireplace. Along with the bar, it incorporates three separate dining areas that will seat 15, 16 and 18 people respectively.
Buyer Sarah Marshall of Black Cat Taverns has also snapped up the six letting bedrooms in the standalone coach house to the rear of the pub in a separate and private deal with the vendors.
