Blackpool hoteliers buy Dartmouth tea shop

Former Blackpool hotel owners Brian Yole and Darren Morris have bought the Singing Kettle teashop in Dartmouth off an asking price of £350,000 for the freehold.

The traditional teashop in Smith Street is a three-storey, Grade II-listed property with beamed ceilings and a large shop window.

Along with the 32-seat tea room, it has a small courtyard and two-bedroom owners' accommodation on the first and second floors.

The Exeter office of Christie + Co sold the property on behalf of Debbie and Doug Morris, who have run the business for 18 years
