Brasserie Bar Co set for three June openings

Brasserie Bar Co is set to open three sites in June, with more in the pipeline.

The business will open a new Brasserie Blanc in Knutsford in Cheshire, as well as a new White Brasserie pub in Alderley Edge, in what used to be a Loch Fyne restaurant.

The company is also on course to re-open the last of its new-look Brasserie Blancs that month in Bristol.

Bristol will be the last of the 19 Brasserie Blanc sites currently open to receive the new look, after Brasserie Bar Co started working with design agency Blacksheep in 2014 to create a more casual, stripped-back environment and try to welcome in a slightly younger clientele.

Last month, the business reported a 14% rise in turnover to £37.2m for the year to June 2015, as it continues to grow its estate of White Brasserie pubs, and the effects of the reinvigoration of Brasserie Blanc started to take hold.

The company plans more openings in the coming year, although none has yet been confirmed.
