Burger & Lobster to open new branch in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge
Goodman Restaurant Group is to open a new Burger & Lobster restaurant on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols in London's Knightsbridge in October.
It will be the fifth site under the Burger & Lobster brand, which boasts a menu offering just three choices: a whole live lobster with clarified or garlic butter; lobster roll in brioche with Japanese mayonnaise; or a handmade burger in a brioche bun, all served with chips and salad, and priced at a flat £20 charge each.
The new branch will bring the same red leather, wood panels and busy atmosphere of the brand's other restaurants, but also plans to cater to its fashion- and calorie-conscious clientele with a "California Burger": a simple meat patty between two lettuce leaves.
Planned for the store's fifth-floor, the new space will be demarcated by lobster-cage walls and sit next to the existing Fifth Floor Café, Foodmarket and Wine Shop.
