Busaba Eathai to open two more sites

Busaba Eathai is set to open another two restaurants in London, as the business continues to expand.

The new sites are set to open in the O2 in Greenwich, as well as in Shoreditch in east London.

The 180-cover O2 site is expected to open in November and will also offer private dining for up to 36 people. Meanwhile, the Shoreditch site will occupy two floors at the base of a Telford Homes development between Sclater Street and Bethnal Green Road. It is schedule to open in January 2015 but the number of covers it will offer is not yet know.

The openings will take the total number of sites operated by Busaba Eathai to 13.

It was founded by veteran restaurateur Alan Yau (also of Wagamama, Yauatcha and Hakkasan), who enlisted the help of Australian chef David Thompson, in a bid to take Thai food in a stylish setting to the masses.

It serves a wide selection of Thai-inspired dishes, including salads, wok noodles, sir-fries, curries, grilled meats and rice.
