Café Med plans 17 new Med Kitchens

Restaurant group Café Med is to expand its Med Kitchen chain from three to 20 sites within the next four years having rationalised its portfolio.

Caf‚ Med, which currently has 11 restaurants having sold three properties over the past six months, aims to open Med Kitchens in affluent areas within the M25, such as Richmond, Fulham and Chiswick.

The London-based firm, which also runs restaurants under the Café Flo and Café Med names, has instructed property agent Shelley Sandzer to identify leasehold and freehold properties that are single-level and at least 3,000sq ft in size.
