Canal-side pub in Long Eaton on the market

The Steamboat Inn, a canal-side pub restaurant sited on Trent Lock in the Nottinghamshire town of Long Eaton, is up for sale.

The property provides 170 seats inside across a main bar with a dance area, a separate restuarant and a basement bar leading out to a beer patio.

The decked terrace outside that overlooks the canal can seat a further 170 customers.

The business generates an annual turnover of £480,000 split 60% wet and 40% dry sales and has the potential to boost its income by adding letting accommodation.

The Nottingham office of Davey & Co is seeking offers of £195,000 for the leasehold.
