Carluccio's opens its fourth outlet this year

Italian café-restaurant and food store chain Carluccio's is continuing its ambitious expansion plans with a new opening in Hampstead, north London.

The 3,000sq ft site at 32-34 Rosslyn Hill is expected to open in the autumn and will be the burgeoning chain's fourth opening this year, after Fulham in April, Putney in June and Windsor last month. It will be the group's 17th restaurant. The site was formerly popular local restaurant House on the Hill but it went into receivership last year.

Agents Shelly Sandzer said there was a lot of competition for the site, which eventually sold for a premium of £375,000 with an annual rent of £125,000.
