Casamia in Bristol tops Harden's Best 100 UK Restaurant 2019 list

Bristol's Casamia restaurant has scooped the top spot in the Harden's Best 100 UK Restaurant 2019 list, published today.

Owned by the Sanchez-Inglesias family, Casamia was up from second place last year, knocking the Araki in London back to third place.

Two other London restaurants were in the top five (Texture in second place and the Ledbury at number five), while Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac, Cornwall, was ranked in fourth place.

Published as part of the Hardens' Best UK Restaurant 2019 guide, the list was compiled from an annual poll of 8,000 diners who contributed 50,000 reviews

The guide's editor Peter Harden applauded Casamia for "an attention to detail you don't see in other fine dining restaurants" as well as noting "the theatre and introduction by the chefs that really rounds off the experience."
