Cato joins Wolseley

More change is afoot at London's Wolseley Café, with former Prism and Garden Café chef Cyrus Cato taking over as head chef while his predecessor Ed Wilson moves to Sketch.

The latest changes come hot on the heels of news that the award-winning café's executive chef Chris Galvin is leaving to start his own business, expected to launch in September in Baker Street.

Jeremy King, joint owner of the Wolseley, confirmed the moves, but said there would be no immediate replacement for Galvin.

Wilson is leaving the Wolseley to work for celebrated French chef Pierre Gagnaire as sous chef at Sketch's Lecture Room & Library restaurant. He will also spend time in Paris at Gagnaire's three-Michelin-starred eponymous restaurant.
