CD Pub Co to open chicken restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon
Warwickshire-based pub company CD Pub Co is set to open a new restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon next month, with the launch of Flat Chicken.
The group, which currently runs two sites, the Stag at Offchurch and the Moorings at Myton in Leamington Spa, will open the new restaurant at the end of November.
The brainchild of operations director Charles Harris, the Flat Chicken marks the beginning of the group's expansion plans for a restaurant group across the Midlands.
Focused on rotisserie chicken available to eat in or take away, the Flat Chicken will also serve steaks as well as a range of starters and classic desserts.
Commenting the launch Harris said: "We've been trying to find the right type of venue in Stratford-upon-Avon for more than 12 months and the decision to launch the Flat Chicken as a unique dining concept from this quirky building with its roof top garden in Guild Street is just perfect.
"We're also pleased to be introducing our company values of great food, great service and great value for money to Stratford residents, and are looking forward to bringing this part of the town back to life again, as the premises have remained empty for more than a year."
Terms for the five-year lease on the former Bernadette's restaurant in Guild Street, Stratford-upom-Avon were negotiated through Tim Cox Associates.
