Chipotle to open third restaurant in London
Mexican casual-dining chain Chipotle is to open its third UK outlet, after it acquired the site of the former Otarian restaurant on Wardour Street in London's Soho.
Chipotle is a giant of the US restaurant scene, with around 1,300 sites in its home country and a turnover of more than £1b.
It opened its first UK site on London's Charing Cross Road in 2010, following up with a second site in Baker Street last year.
Thomas Rose, associate in Cushman and Wakefield's leisure and restaurant team, which handled the deal for the new site, said: "It will be a real asset to the growing restaurant scene in Soho. This site is in a great corner location," he added.
