Christie + Co appoints new head of pubs valuation and advisory team
Christie + Co has made Stephen Owens head of the company's Corporate Pubs, Bars and Restaurants valuation and advisory team.
Owens joined Christie + Co in 2008 as head of rent reviews, based at the company's Leeds office, following a career of over 20 years in the licensed property sector where he worked for companies such as John Smiths, Allied Domecq, Tetley's and Yates Group.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is also on the RICS Panels of Arbitrators and Independent Experts.
Neil Morgan, director and head of pubs at Christie + Co, said: "We're delighted to announce Stephen's appointment. We are enjoying one of our most successful periods ever in the pub, bar and restaurant sectors and Stephen is the ideal person to expand still further our flourishing advisory and valuation services business.
