Clapham House buys new sites for Bombay Bicycle chain

Clapham House Group, the restaurant company set up last year by two former PizzaExpress directors, is to open its third Bombay Bicycle Club restaurant in London's Holland Park.

It has just exchanged contracts on a property at 128 Holland Park Avenue that was trading as Nimmo and was part of the Ask/ TDR group.

Clapham House Group bought the Bombay Bicycle Club for up to £2.42m in April. It operates a flagship restaurant in Clapham, along with five delivery outlets.

It has also bought a site in Islington that will serve as a delivery outlet for the Hampstead restaurant.
