Coco di Mama to open second site

Italian quick-service food concept Coco di Mama is to open a second site, this time on the corner of London Wall and Moorgate in the City of London.

The new site, due to open this month, follows the success of the firm's first venue on Fleet Street.

The new site will be open for both early breakfast and lunch, with the menu featuring Coco di Mama's "al bronzo" pasta and home-made sauces. Al bronzo pasta is made using traditional techniques that marks the pasta with small ridges, designed to capture its accompanying sauce.

The second Coco di Mama will also serve its own blend of cofee, the Baron, developed with coffee roasters Climpson & Sons.

Founders Daniel Land and Jeremy Sanders will still take a hands-on role at both sites, and are often found making sandwiches, baking croissants and pouring coffees from 6.30 every morning.

Coco di Mama's new site at 115 London Wall will be large enough to seat 15 people.
