Cotswold brasserie with royal patronage is sold

The new owners are Peter and Pernille Colby whose two London businesses include the Sunflower Café that is currently up for sale.

Their new venture, the Blue Zucchini Brasserie, occupies a double-fronted Cotswold stone building in the heart of the Gloucestershire town opposite the Market Place.

It contains a 40-seat restaurant, a lounge bar, a patio, and four-bedroom owners' accommodation.

The restaurant also has planning permission to add eight letting bedrooms.

The Bristol office of Christie + Co sold the leasehold (which runs to April 2018) off a guide price of £150,000 on behalf of Gary Corlett.

The rent is currently set at £40,000 by landlord, pub operator and brewer Greene King.
