David Ellams has been promoted to head chef at Stapleford Park, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. He brings more than 13 years of industry experience to the role including time at Overton Grange, Summer Lodge, Mortons House and three years at Stapleford Park as executive sous chef.
Following his promotion, Sean Harnett has stepped up to the role of senior sous chef and Simon McNeil has been appointed as pastry chef. Ellams' new role sees him take responsibility for all events and the introduction of a new house menu.
Managing director Shuif Hussain said: "David has been a valuable member of the team over the last few years and has played a key role in building up the Stapleford Park dining reputation."
