David Moore involved in new West Hampstead restaurant

Restaurateur David Moore is set to be involved in a new venture in London's West Hampstead, to be called 160 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Moore said he was not the main backer of the restaurant, but had some involvement and was helping out on the recruitment side of the operation.

The restaurant will be in the style of an American smokehouse, provided that contracts for the site, a former Strada, are exchanged this week.

It is not yet clear when 160 Degrees Fahrenheit will open, although more details are expected soon.

Moore is behind several successful London restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Pied a Terre and L'Autre Pied, as well as the more recent pop-up Pieds Nus, which sits in the site of what was Simon Rogan's Roganic, in London's Marylebone.
