East Coast Concepts heads south with second Victors

East Coast Concepts is set to open a second Victors restaurant and bar at Westgate Oxford next month.

The premium restaurant and bar brand will open on the shopping centre's rooftop terrace, jump-starting its expansion in the south. East Coast Concepts has invested £1.8m into the 120-cover site with an outside terrace enjoing views over the city.

James Hitchen, chief executive and founder of East Coast Concepts, said: "As a brand we are ready to take the next step and set down roots in the south, and Oxford felt like the perfect new home for us."

Victors offers modern American small plates to share, including black cod, lobster tacos and lamb cutlets. It opened its first venue in Hale, near Altrincham, Cheshire, in 2014.

East Coast Concepts also operates sister brand Neighbourhood, which has three sites in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool . The group says it has "further expansion plans on the cards" for Neighbourhood, following a "record-breaking 2017" and a "strong start" to 2018.
