El Bulli to re-open for a month – to train actors

Jeff Kleeman, producer of El Bulli, the fictional adaptation of Lisa Abend's The Sorcerer's Apprentices: A Season in the Kitchen at Ferran Adrià's El Bulli told http://www.thedailymeal.com/elbulli-reopen-month-hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">The Daily Meal.

"Whoever we hire to portray Ferran, and whoever ends up directing the movie, is going to get to have quite an experience, which is that Ferran is going reopen El Bulli for one month."

Adrià will train the actors and directors of the film to show them how the restaurant worked and make it as realistic as possible.

A location for the training restaurant has not been determined so far, and the actors for the film have not yet been cast.

El Bulli, which held three Michelin stars, closed in July 2011 and was renowned for its pioneering molecular gastronomy.
