Enoteca Da Luca to open second London site
Authentic Italian wine and food shop Enoteca Da Luca has forged ahead with expansion plans and added a second London site to its portfolio, which will feature a new Venetian coffee concept called Bacari.
The firm, which already has premises at Devonshire Square close to Liverpool Street, today announced that it had secured a 15-year-lease on a second unit in Basinghall Street in the City of London at a passing rent of £68,000 per year.
The new 1,380 sq ft shop is currently being fitted out and will offer superior wine alongside fine food, while Bacari will provide Italian coffee, cichetti and other Italian foods and pastries.
Enoteca Da Luca owner, restaurateur Robert Dora, hopes to roll out the joint concept across the City and the West End. "I am excited about both ventures in this location, which I hope will enhance the whole Italian food and drink lifestyle here in the City of London," he said.
Chris Bickle, a spokesman for leisure property adviser Davis Coffer Lyons, which advised Dora, added: "This offering will fit perfectly in this City location and provide customers with an authentic Italian experience in a stylish and contemporary interior. My clients are looking for additional sites in key location such as this."
