Eshott Hall hires Christopher Wood as head chef
Eshott Hall has hired Christopher Wood as its new head chef. Wood's career has taken him from London 24, a Roux fine dining restaurant, to head chef at Alnwick Castle's restaurant, and now to Eshott Hall where he will be responsible for developing the dining experience for house guests.
Commenting on his appointment, Wood said: "Obviously this is different to a busy restaurant - it is bespoke dining, where guests expect a more individual experience and a more leisured one.
"We will aim to show them the best of modern cuisine, with international influences."
