Event caterers buy fine-dining Buckinghamshire restaurant

The OneTwoEight fine-dining Chinese restaurant in Gerrards Cross, South Buckinghamshire, has new owners.

It's a first-time restaurant buy for Raj Sethi, Mr Rudki and Mr Singh, who own a local events catering company. They intend to operate OneTwoEight personally, offering Asian cuisine.

The detached Grade II-listed building sits alongside the busy Oxford Road in Tatling End and attracts trade from a wide area within the London commuter belt.

The open-plan, 100-seat restaurant provides five-bedroom owners' accommodation and a large car park.

The Milton Keynes office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £1.2m on behalf of Melvin Voon, who bought the restaurant five years ago.
