Farmer J to open full service healthy food site
Health-food focussed restaurant Farmer J is to open a second London site, with the launch of its London Bridge restaurant.
Set to open next month on King William Street, the restaurant will serve the ‘fieldtrays' for which it became known at its original grab-and-go site in London's Leadenhall Market, alongside more substantial dishes in the evening.
Dishes on offer will include grilled lime leaf prawns, roast beef with tomato tartare and whole roasted celeriac, with the vegetarian options such as Freekeh herb salad with goat's yogurt, roast beets with crème fraiche and "the ultimate" veggie burger. Meanwhile, weekend brunch will include Sunday spatchcock, a Bagel deli plate and an authentic spicy shakshuka.
The restaurant will also feature a range of cocktails alongside lager, ale and kombucha on tap.
Farmer J founder Jonathan Recanati said: "It's time for Farmer J to plough the next field, so we're looking forward to opening our first restaurant at King William Street for dinner and cocktails, as well as relaxed weekend brunches. Most importantly, our ethos will remain the same: respecting our fantastic produce, and cooking real food with sustainable, seasonal ingredients."
