Fast casual chicken concept Cluck to open on Sheffield Parkway

A new fast-casual dining concept, serving rotisserie chicken, is set to open in Sheffield Parkway in March 2014.

Cluck is to offer a "relaxed and informal dining environment" as well as a take-away service and a drive-in service called "Cluck and Collect".

Plans for the 90-seater site, which sits next to a Travelodge hotel, have now been approved by Sheffield City Council, and fitout and recruitment is expected to begin shortly.

Simon Beattie (pictured), the director of Cluck Restaurants said: "We see Cluck as a convenient dining solution to the people of Sheffield and its visitors. We will be open for breakfast through to dinner and will be cooking stunning fresh produce to order. We will be offering a complete range for those dining out and to those that like to dine at home without the hassle of supermarket queues.

"Our first site will be located right on Sheffield Parkway and we hope to be the first choice for home cooking for the local residents and for those passing by. Sheffield's a vibrant and exciting city to be in and being located right next to the Travelodge hotel, we hope to bring people back to the area again and again."
