FishWorks sets up permanent cookery school

FishWorks is to open its first full-time cookery school and training facility next year to support the company's ambitious growth plans.

The school will be located on its eighth site, in Richmond, South-west London. It has just exchanged contracts on the premises.

It will open as a restaurant in March 2006 with 80 seats and an outdoor dining area.

FishWorks chief executive Roy Morris said: "The exchange of contracts is another step towards achieving our target of securing a minimum of nineteen sites by the middle of 2008."

In June this year the company's move from OFEX to the Alternative Investment Market raised £3.8m to fund growth.
