Franco Manca pizza group to open 20th site, in Bromley

Sourdough pizza group Franco Manca is to open a new restaurant in Bromley, south east London, after securing a new site.

Leisure property agency Shelley Sandzer helped to secure the deal.

Commenting on the news, Nick Weir, joint managing partner at Shelley Sandzer, said: "The pub was purchased off-market from Stonegate Pub Company and in line with our close working relationship with Franco Manca we proposed the site. It interested them immediately and we are pleased to see the brand continue its expansion plans in London."

With 18 sites across London - and another opening soon in Stoke Newington â€' Franco Manca is operated by Fulham Shore, which also runs 24 Real Greek restaurants. It reported an operating profit of £25,000 in its most recent results, in July 2015.
