Galvin at Windows bar set to reopen after £500k redesign
The bar at Galvin at Windows, on the 28th floor of the London Hilton Park Lane, is set to reopen next week following an extensive £500,000 redesign.
Offering 360-degree views across London, the bar at the Michelin-starred restaurant has been completely remodelled. It now features a new circular bar, which has been designed to capture the light, with carefully positioned seating around it capitalising on the views and window banquettes framing Hyde Park.
A new cocktail list has been devised by bar manager Marco Ercolano with references to the Golden Age of the 1930s, while head chef André Garrett has created a menu of bar snacks priced from £8. These include potted shrimp with a crab salad, avocado and confit lemon and a signature Galvin burger with vanilla onions.
General manager Fred Sirieix (pictured) commented: "2012 is London's year and Galvin at Windows Bar is at the pinnacle overlooking this vibrant metropolis. We look forward to unveiling the new bar and to serving our guests in the sky."
