Giraffe opens new grab-and-go brand extension

Tesco-owned restaurant group Giraffe is to open the first of a new brand of grab-and-go outlets, and its second site at London's King's Cross Square.

The 385 sq ft Kiosk site, designed by Harrisons, will focus on quick service casual dining. The new opening follows the launch in June 2013 of Stop at the station.

Kiosk will serve grab-and-go curry pots, freshly made sandwiches and toasted wraps, salads, freshly pressed juices, pastries and coffee.

It will be open early until late, with breakfast served to 11.30am. Giraffe said there were plans to open further Kiosk sites, as well as larger Stop sites at travel hubs across the country.

Russel Joffe, co-founder of Giraffe, said: "We are delighted to be able to open our first Kiosk in the fantastic King's Cross development. Our Giraffe Stop site has performed well above expectations and we are confident KIiosk will enjoy the same success."
