Gordon Ramsay Group F&B director returns to D&D London

Nicolas Grounin has left his role as group director of food and beverage at Gordon Ramsay Group to rejoin D&D London (GRG).

Grounin, who was a senior general manager at DD London in 2013-14 before taking up his role at GRG, will be group general manager overseeing Bluebird Chelsea and Quaglino's in London.

He replaces Jean-Baptiste Requien, who left for a post as operations director south of restaurant group Big Easy Bar.B.Q & Lobstershack.

Speaking about Grounin's appointment, David Loewi, managing director of D&D London, said: "We are delighted to welcome Nicolas back to D&D London as group general manager overseeing Bluebird, Quaglino's and Plateau.

"After some time away from the business, working with Gordon Ramsay Holdings as F&B director, it's terrific to have Nicolas back bringing his international expertise to some of D&D's most iconic restaurants, with other exciting opportunities in the pipeline."

A spokesperson for GRG wished Grounin the best in his career and said there were currently no plans to replace him.
