Gordon Ramsay is third highest-earning chef
Gordon Ramsay is the third highest earning chef in the world, according to a new rich list from US business magazine Forbes.
The Michelin-starred UK chef makes an estimated £4m a year, the list reveals, but he is beaten by US chefs Rachael Ray, who earns £9.5m, and Wolfgang Puck, who takes home £8.4m.
Nobu restaurant founder Nobuyuki Matsuhisa was rated fourth with £2.6m, while Anthony Bourdain, New York-born author of Kitchen Confidential, came in tenth, with an estimated £790,000.
On Gordon Ramsay, the report said: "The British chef owns restaurants in London, New York and Dubai.
"But he is probably better known for berating reality show contestants on Hell's Kitchen in the US and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares in the UK."
