Gordon Ramsay to temporarily close Hong Kong outpost of Bread Street Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay is reportedly preparing to temporarily close the Hong Kong outpost of Bread Street Kitchen and Bar.

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) reports that the celebrity chef's restaurant will shut its doors on 19 August.

It had opened in 2014 in the now closed LFK Hotel building, which is being converted to offices.

Ramsay's Hong Kong partner Dining Concepts told the SCMP the closure had been a "snap decision" related to the conversion.

The restaurant is expected to reopen in the city in the first quarter of 2019.
