Gordon Ramsay's new Battersea restaurant is set to be called London House.

It was confirmed last week that Ramsay was taking over the former site of the Bennett Brasserie and Oyster Bar in Battersea Square.

The head chef at the new venture, which is has not yet been given a launch date, is Anna Kelly.

Ramsay is expected to release further details about the new venture in the coming weeks.

The celebrity chef's 25-strong restaurant group is currently focussed on opening Gordon Ramsay's Union Street Café, backed by footballer David Beckham.

The Russell Sage-designed eaterie in a converted warehouse in London's Borough market will open in September 2013.
