It's a dog's life at London Valentine's Day dog-friendly pop-up
Dogs and dinner: two words that restaurants don't normally like to be associated with, and yet this Valentine's Day (14 February), the charity the Dog's Trust is opening a pop-up site for dogs and their owners, in collaboration with hot dog and Champagne group Bubbledogs.
MicroChippy, set to open on February 13 and 14 at the now-closed Printworks Kitchen in London's Clerkenwell, will offer owners a normal hot dog (just the usual pork sausage kind, fear not) from the usual selection at London restaurant Bubbledogs, while their furry friends will receive a specially-created, canine-adapted hot dog from the site's chef-owner Sandia Chang, it has been reported.
Tickets for the pop-up - which will be decorated along the lines of a 1950s style diner and feature the Dog's Trust logo and bright yellow brand colour â' will cost £13.85 per person from here, including a hot dog, side, and beverage; with furry friends going free (bringing a whole new meaning to the words "hot dog").
