James Durrant launches cookery school

James Durrant, chef-patron of the Plough Inn in Hampshire, is to launch a new cookery school with a chef's table and private dining facility.

The Great British Menu (2014) main course winner said he would personally host a range of classes aimed at domestic cooks in a purpose-built kitchen.

Covering cooking and presentational skills, the classes are designed to educated students in what is possible in the average home kitchen.

Durrant will also introduce a kitchen table in his restaurant, where he will cook an evening dinner party for up to 10 guests.
