Jamie's Italian to open new Greenwich site after Inc Group surrenders Bar du Musee lease

Jamie's Italian is set to open a new restaurant on the site of Bar du Musee in Greenwich, after operator Inc Group surrendered the lease.

Jamie's Italian has now secured a 25-year lease on the 5,000sq ft ground-floor unit in Nelson Road, Greenwich, through its property agent, Shelley Sandzer.

The landlord of the site is Greenwich Hospital.

Nick Weir, director at Shelley Sandzer, said: "This is a great location for the popular, relaxed Italian chain. Jamie's Italian likes to create an environment with a neighbourhood feel and this location in the heart of Greenwich fits well with their ethos of a friendly and comfortable restaurant."

Jamie's Italian has 30 restaurants in the UK as well as three international venues.

Inc Group now operates 10 sites. The majority, including the Trafalgar Tavern, Spread Eagle restaurant and Admiral Hardy pub, are in Greenwich.
