Jason Atherton to host HA charity event at Social Eating House ahead of official opening

Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton is to host a special charity event at his eagerly awaited new restaurant the Social Eating House ahead of its official opening.

The event, organised in aid of industry charity Hospitality Action (HA), will take place on 16 April, two days before the opening of the Soho restaurant.

Tickets to the dinner are priced £175 per person and include a Champagne, cocktail and canapé reception as well as a meal with wines.

To book contact Giuliana Vittiglio at HA on 020 3004 5504 or e-mail fundraising@hospitalityaction.org.uk.

The Social Eating House is 2012 Catey Chef Award winner Atherton's second London restaurant after the Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social.

A partnership with his long-standing head chef Paul Hood, it will be spread over three floors, comprising a ground floor restaurant, basement chef's table and top floor standalone bar.

Atherton has also bought the lease of 5 Pollen Street, the former Italian restaurant situated across the road from Pollen Street Social, which he will reopen as a bistro, called Little Social, in the coming weeks.

HA is the industry charity which has been set up to help those who have worked or are working in the hospitality sector, in times of crisis.
