Jay Rayner finds Roux Scholarship finalist's food so-so

The Guardian's Matthew Norman believes Goldfish is the first truly outstanding restaurant to open in London's well-heeled Hampstead.

Tracey MacLeod visits the Greenhouse in London's Mayfair and finds an operation in it for the long run rather than a one-night stand, with chef Antonin Bonnet upholding the eaterie's long established reputation for culinary excellence.

Jay Rayner travels to Ilkley's Martha & Vincent but while the service and setting is charming the food from Roux Scholarship finalist Matthew Wilkinson remains so-so.
