The Californian sister restaurant of Mayfair's Michelin-starred Tamarind restaurant - the first in the United States - is operated by Fessel International and features a show kitchen with three large tandoors as a centrepiece and a garden room with retractable walls.

Menu Upscale Indian - dishes include spice-crusted seared scallops with smoked tomato chutney; coriander and fennel crusted tuna with arugula, grilled hallouni and roasted eggplant in a pomegranate balsamic with chilli oil; classic chicken tikka masala with tomato honey sauce and fenugreek; and seven-spiced molten chocolate cake.
Price Starters range from $4-$13 (£2.60-£8.40) and main courses are $16-$29 (£10.30-£18.70)
