Lancashire hoteliers snap up Coppull restaurant

The owners of Ferrari's Country House hotel in Thornley have bought the Coppull Moor restaurant in the Lancashire village of Coppull.

The large, Victorian building occupies a prominent position in a quarter-acre site alongside the A49 Preston Road.

Facilities include three separate dining rooms to seat 50 guests, two lounges with seating for 34, and double-bedroom first-floor accommodation for the owners.

Outside, the site has a large private garden and a 20-bay car park.

New owners Ginio and Susan Ferrari run the 22-bedroom Ferrari hotel, restaurant and wedding venue near Longridge in the Ribble Valley. Their new acquisition will be run by their daughter and son-in-law as a fine dining venue.

The Manchester office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £485,000 on behalf of chef-proprietor Barry John Rea, who has run the restaurant since 1991.
